Restaurant Review

Today was my sister-in-law's birthday, and for dinner we went to go eat at this restaurant called Pho Hai Tuyet II. This will be my review of this resaurant and what my overall experience was. So, to start it off if you're curious what the address of this place is, it is 333 W. Brown Deer Rd. Bayside, WI 53217 and the phone number is (414) 446-8364.

This place is easy to access and has many other stores near by. However, I must say that parking could be better, however, if the parking space was angled there would be less parking spots. So, it’s a win-lose situation, but it doesn’t affect the business too much. Anyways, my family and I went here around six pm, and there was a decent crowd there.

When we entered the building we were greeted right away and seated immediately. Soon later, we were asked what we wanted to drink. So as of service, it’s actually pretty good at night. The menus were odd but easy to understand. However, because I have been to other restaurants like these it may be different to others. I ordered a noodle dish that came with meat and vegetables. In addition, I ordered a Vietnamese sandwich (which I LOVE).

As for the pricing of the food, I would say that it’s decently priced. Nothing was too expensive. My noodle bowl cost my $9.50, my sandwich was $8 and then I had hot green tea which was $2. So overall just for myself I paid $19.50. However, like my dad always said, “your eyes are bigger than your stomach.” This so happened to be true. I couldn’t even finish half of my noodle bowl. With little samples from other dishes that my family had I could have no more food. So I took home my noodles, and my untouched sandwich.

As for the interior, personally I thought that it was nice. I want to say that there was about four flat screen T.V. with different stations on them that you could enjoy. In addition, near the kitchen the painted wall looked beautiful. As I looked at the floor, they weren’t dirty. They kept this place pretty clean. Also, as I looked up at the ceiling they had curvy like planks that decorated it. Honestly, I’m not too sure if I’m describing it right however, it matched the theme. However, I did notice that there were some empty shelves as you walked out of the building that was odd.
Just because this is an Vietnamese restaurant doesn’t mean only Vietnamese people eat there. There were couple of Koreans enjoying themselves, and to the right of them there were two Chinese girls, there was also a Caucasian couple, and a family of Hmong people, and us. So, I’ve got to say that there are a variety of races here at this restaurant.

Finally, for my overall score of this place out of ten, I give it a seven. Yes, I would recommend this place to others if they’re feeling for some Asian food. Also, with reasonable prices and okay service what do you have to lose?
